The worm hook centre weight will make your softbait swim in a more natural way, not head down. You can also hide the hook point inside the softbait, great when fishing shallow around weed. Further more you can inject some scent into the little void of the sinker and it will disperse slowly when fishing, far more slowly than putting it on the softbait directly.
