How to request removal of your personal data from Fisho.
What data we hold
If you have created a Fisho account — including via Facebook or Google login — we may hold the following information about you:
- Email address and account credentials
- Catch records and competition entries you have submitted
- Club memberships
- Order history
- Login and activity logs
How to request deletion
To request deletion of your account and all associated personal data, email us at:
Please include the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm once complete.
What happens after deletion
- Your account and login credentials will be permanently removed.
- Your catch records, competition entries and club memberships will be deleted.
- Order records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by New Zealand tax law, but will be anonymised.
- If you signed in via Facebook, revoking app access in your Facebook app settings will also remove our access to your Facebook profile.
Revoking Facebook access
You can disconnect Fisho from your Facebook account at any time by visiting your Facebook App Settings, finding Fisho in the list, and removing it. This does not automatically delete your Fisho account data — please also send us a deletion request as above if you want your data removed.
