Great day out fishing with Deni on Saturday (6th June 26), the weather started out a little average, lightening off in the distance as we launched in the dark. Bit more wind than expected too, as we rounded the old woman (Bream Head) we knew that’d be a bit lumpy and said, oh as we cross Ocean Beach it will be better, then it wasn’t much better, so it was, oh as we get to the leigh of the land it’ll get better, meh, it wasn’t much better.

Ended up hiding in a bay fishing for squid sheltering from the squalls, after they cleared we ventured out to a more exposed fishing spot and drifted in 5-40m hunting the snapper over the foul - sand -foul. Eventually found them in 20-30m range and the bite was on. We managed to measure and release some cracking models and bought a good feed home - it was a feed the village mission and the job was done!

Bait of the day was Berkley Gulp Crazy Legs in New Penny & the ever consistent Nuclear Chicken.
